Google Reader is a beautiful tool when it comes to using RSS feeds from blogs. If you dont have it check it out sometime. I designed this poster to try to convince my classmates that they needed this utility and it could help us have a nice design community during college because you can share posts and add people.
This is a blog design which I have not coded yet. I set this up so the user would be able to navigate based on tabs and colors that way the user has a very easily navigable experience. The header is a transparent .png that would show the background image through and makes an interesting contrast.
cART Web also was a dual purpose assignment and I wanted the webpage to be simple and easily navigable. The pictures are made through flash so you can easily click through them and they change instantly with a nice little animation. This was i could show my web design skills in both html and flash.
This magazine is something I would like to think of cutting edge. I was tired of seeing pictures that were cut up by the middle of the magazine. So I made a magazine that was viewed horizontally with the text being on smaller inner pages so that the image was viewed fully. The magazine features car art and photography which is why the logo is reflected upon itself. Images are from Easton Chang and are not being reproduced in anyway.
I am a member of AIGA and we at Marshall needed a poster so that we could standardize our meetings and make a poster that was easily recognizeable.
Stellar Shoes is a extreme sports shoe company. It is geared towards skateboarding, motocross, snowboarding etc. I had to make the logo and make a poster, self mailer, shoe box. This was a fun project and for the other posters (not pictured) I really go to let myself go and design some cutting edge designs.
I designed these logo's for Marshall University Forensic Science Center when I started my Internship there in early 2005. I was not happy with there current logo's and thought mine embodied them as part of Marshall as well as showcasing the departments they have.

This is a logo I did for a client who happens to be my dad. He bought a section of property and revamped the whole area. He needed a logo to represent the area and a design that could be carried throughout his clients who rent the property. He came up with the name and I took it a step farther with a classy unique design.
This was a two fold assignment. I had to re-design a logo for Sonus Industries and then make an annual report. The logo design is based on arrows coming to and from the company and the lines looking like highways. This helps to embody technology and communication through which their company makes its living.
I made these to hand out whenever I need them to. I am trying to do some freelance work on the side and these come in handy when trying to spread my name around. I tried to make my name look like a metallic metal surface on the back and then have a real plain and simple front with the metallic square to carry the theme throughout.
